Chef Angie Kim and her husband, Daniel, run this tiny Santa Monica hideaway, which launched during what turned out to be the onset of the pandemic, leading to years of to-go service. Only now have they been able to realize their sit-down dining plans, which they’re doing by offering unabashedly global cuisine — Korean, Japanese, Italian — through their American lens. There’s a lobster roll with sambal and nuoc mam, a bulgogi burger with mozzarella, plus a shochu mule on the drinks menu. The sandwiches, including the chicken katsu, are served on the sought-after artisanal milk bread from cult local baker Ginza Nishikawa.
